Bourne Supremecy




For those of you who have seen the above movie, you will know that in the opening scene, Matt Damon is seen jogging along on a beach somewhere in Goa, in hiding. Well above is that beach, where we are staying right now called Palolem! It is so nice. We went for a boat ride along the cost this morning. The boat is like a type of Curragh. We rode to this lovely secluded beach with Elodie and Regan our new Kiwi friend who came down with us from Anjuna. It was gorgeous. We even saw dophins playing about and flying fish ricocheting across the water it was so cool! We are staying in little huts on pilons in the sand they are deadly. 1 euro a night, you can't go wrong! Did some shopping and now we are chilling by the beach. Lovely seafood while watching the sun set over the ocean listening to cool music, is something I won't forget in a hurry.

hi zazie poooooooo, jeez you lucky thing ya, that's a purty lookin little beach shack.. i'm SOOO jealous of the holiday-ness of it all.. am currently trying to cram a quarter year's work into the last 3 days before we break so that we don't get any black marks on our "Balance Scorecard" from the funders.. bit of a mad stress as you can imagine..! dying to be home in Brux on friday night - what day and time are you arriving back in Brullox? I'll be landing at 22:45. Hey BTW did you know that Amro's finally coming over to brussels? he'll be over from 28th to 3rd, leaving on same flight as me, and steph's leaving that day too. We have been set the challenge of proving to him that brussels is not the boring dump he has heard it is.. won't be too hard with all the christmas merriment we have in store... Bienvenido a Barcelona

So I am officially settling in Barclelona. I have been here for over a week taking it really easy. I arrived Saturday 28th and went straight to a Barbeque held by an Ozzie/Kiwi/Spanish/Russian/Croatian consortium amongst others on the roof-top terrace of an apartment north of Barcelona. It was lovely to arrive just in time to a party. It was to celebrate the Feria de Abril celebrated in Andalucia mainly but here they have a massive sort of Fete Forraine with a ferris wheel, and loads of little stands with long tables and food and a stage with people dressed up in Flamenco outfits dancing to Flamenco music.So we all walked up to the Forum by the beach where the festival wes being held and danced the night away. We spend the weekend chilling infront of dvds the weather was overcast most of the week and then on Friday I went to meet a friend of sorchas for a drink and hooked up with Carla from work and her friends who where over from dublin for a week and we met up with Ian a friend from ...

Cos baby it ain't over til its over...

So my days in India are finally drawing to a close. It is strange being here in Goa becuase it is so different to the rest of India. It feels like these past two months happened oh so long ago. This blog has been such a handy tool in recording all my experiences, and especially in storing my photos. Hats off to technology. So we are still livin' it up here in Goa. We head down to Palolem on Saturday. I look forward to that cos it is meant to be one of the nicest white sandy beaches on the southern coast. Barna Update

So I realise it has been a while since I last updated this thing, not that anyone really reads this but just incase, i will update. I have just seen my two sisters and amro off at the bus to Girona after a lovely but all too short visit from them. They came for a week and I only saw them in the evenings because I was working. The three of them stayed in my place and I stayed at Rodri's. We went out lots with my new flatmates and their friends so it was great to finally get to know them. I have been attempting to settle into a routine now that I am working, but it has proved quite difficult due to the shift work system they have in Avis. As I a result I am a bit all over the place and never seem to know what day of the week it is. The only consolation is that the office is really well situated so that I cycle into work every day along the marina and I work right oppisite where Rodri works on the other side of the marina, in the World Trade Centre and we have beautiful views.
